Gautam's life showcases the spirit of never giving up – no matter what. He has been championing the rights of the LGBT and PLHIV community across the globe. He teaches us how to be fearless and selfless. In 2009, he was diagnosed with HIV. The blow could have crushed anyone, but Gautam had other plans. By coming out of his HIV status and standing tall, he became a beacon of hope for countless others who suffer in shame. Presently, he is working with the Humsafar Trust.
